This pathology generates losses economic issues related to the production and condemnation of carcasses. Cattle can be infected by Mycobacterium bovis, Mycobacterium tuberculosis and Mycobacterium avium-intracellulare through various forms of contamination, the inhalation route (pulmonary) being the most pathogenic M.bovis infection.
