These animals, however, become more demanding, because when expressing characteristics of high productive and reproductive performance, they need a nutritional contribution that is properly interrelated with the different stages of development. The literature shows in this interrelationship nutrition and stages of reproduction in swine, a small number of studies, particularly with regard to the use of synthetic amino acids in diets of swine females during gestation. Studies have shown that the addition of synthetic amino acid to the diet of pregnant swine females contributes to a decrease in the consumption of crude protein, making the cost of production more economical. The aim of the present review is to discuss the use of synthetic amino acids in diets of high-performance and reproductive female swine in view of the requirements that this animal category needs.Acesso AbertoMedicina VeterináriaProteína: lisinaSuínosCNPQ::CIENCIAS AGRARIASUso de aminoácidos sintéticos na nutrição de fêmeas suínas prolíficasArtigo de Evento
