Technically, these factors influence the percentage, speed and uniformity of germination, resulting in seedlings more vigorous, as well as reduced production costs. In corn, rapid germination and emergence uniformity are fundamental characteristics to allow high productivity. The depth of Sowing is the factor that most influences the emergence and development of this crop. The project Integrated proposed in the Major Crops module brings the challenge of cultivating and analyzing the seeds of corn at different depths to evaluate seed vigor and the implications of seed depth. seeding in the final crop stand over time.
