dc.description.abstractReading is capable of transforming human beings and, consequently, the world. When reading, we develop linguistic, interpretative, reasoning, concentration, expression and creativity skills, among others. Paulo Freire goes further and says that “reading is becoming aware, is to interpret the world” and that we all want and need to be capable of that. That is why it is so important that families and educators ensure that our students have access to this gateway to the infinite knowledge of the world and can, through reading, identify and value their human power. Remembering that the practice of reading affects the cognitive, social and emotional development of the individual.pt_BR
dc.description.resumoA leitura é capaz de transformar o ser humano e, por consequência, o mundo. Ao ler, desenvolvemos habilidades linguísticas, interpretativas, de raciocínio, concentração, expressão e criatividade, entre outras. Paulo Freire vai além e diz que “ler é tomar consciência, é interpretar o mundo” e que todos queremos e precisamos ser capazes disso. Por isso é tão importante que familiares e educadores, façam com que nossos estudantes tenham acesso a essa porta de entrada para os infinitos saberes do mundo e possam, através da leitura, identificar e valorizar sua potência humana. Lembrando que a prática da leitura atua no desenvolvimento cognitivo, social e emocional do indivíduo.pt_BR
