Abstract
There is a contradiction between the opinion given by parents, students and teachers in relation to the official assessment of Brazilian education. The official assessment, being summative, aims to classify students according to their level of achievement at the end of the process, targeting specific content with the objective of managing resources and is unable to assess the student's emancipation.
