Atualização de Valores pelo IGP-M: Petrobrás

Abstract

This work was done based on Petrobras, which is the largest oil company in Brazil and is publicly traded. In the course of the work, the fundamentals of accounting will be addressed, focusing on the balance sheet and the Income Statement for the Year, and after the explanation of the balance sheet, each group of accounts belonging to the balance sheet will also be shown, the analyzes will be made based on the three last fiscal years that were disclosed by the company and at the end the variations that occurred in the studied period will be presented. The Income Statement is mandatory for the company in question, so the main groups of accounts included therein are highlighted, even in the accounting fundamentals section.
