Abstract

The present work, whose title is “Environmental Management System and its Social Impacts”, aims to detail the emergence and evolution of environmental issues and also to analyze the implementation of an Environmental Management System (EMS) within a real company, obtaining the main impacts and benefits brought about by the implementation of the management system in the organization. The definition of the Environmental Management System (EMS) is described in detail along with the processes of its phase, as the reason for its creation, its advantages and disadvantages within a company that cares about the planet and the environment.
