Abstract
Curriculum proposals for Early Childhood Education should ensure that children have
varied experiences with different languages, recognizing that the world in which they are
inserted, by virtue of the culture itself, is largely marked by images, sounds, speeches and
written. In this process, it is necessary to value the ludic, games and children's cultures.
Experiences that promote learning and consequent development of children
must be provided on a regular basis and be, at the same time, unforeseen,
open to surprises and new discoveries. They aim to create and communicate through
different forms of expression, such as images, songs and music, theater, dance and
movement, as well as written and spoken language, not forgetting sign language, which can
be learned by all children, not just by deaf children.
