Abstract

In recent years, science education has been transformed in response to emerging global challenges, especially with regard to sustainability. Growing concern about environmental issues such as climate change, ecosystem degradation and scarcity of natural resources requires an innovative approach to science education. Current trends seek not only to impart scientific knowledge, but also to cultivate critical awareness and environmental responsibility in students.
