dc.description.abstractThe present work portrays the subject of mental health and its importance in terms of institutions involving children and adolescents. The objectives pursued with this work were to analyze how important it is to understand the needs of those involved (children and adolescents) due to exposure to traumas in childhood and adolescence, such as physical, sexual, emotional abuse and neglect, and to intervene with them in order to to provide them with a better quality of life.pt_BR
dc.description.resumoO presente trabalho retrata o assunto saúde mental e sua importância no quesito instituição que envolve crianças e adolescentes. Os objetivos buscados com esse trabalho foram analisar o quanto é importante entender a necessidade dos envolvidos (crianças e adolescentes) por conta de exposição a traumas na infância e adolescência, como abuso físico, sexual, emocional e negligência e da intervenção com os mesmos a fim de proporcionar uma qualidade de vida melhor aos mesmos.pt_BR
