Efeitos da idade, peso corporal e circunferência escrotal sobre o peso, volume e altura testiculares em cordeiros Santa Inês

Abstract

Eighteen Santa Inês lambs were measured for scrotal circumference, which together with age and body weight were correlated with testicular height, volume and weight. The results showed that the correlations that involved age and body weight showed median and low values. However, the correlations with scrotal circumference were high, confirming literature data of the great relationship between this parameter and the development of tissues related to the puberty of male sheep.
