Abstract
Fetal hydrops is a disease characterized by abnormal accumulation of extravascular fluid in tissues and or cavities of the body. In human medicine, the diagnosis is usually made during prenatal care by ultrasound examination. This study aims to report the intrauterine diagnosis of hydrops fetalis, in a poodle bitch in the final stage of pregnancy through ultrasound examination. The change was identified by the presence of pleural and peritoneal effusion. The ultrasound findings were confirmed in post-mortem examinations.
