Abstract

Art has a role in expressing feelings, ideas and emotions, transmitting and transforming culture. Art should promote critical and liberating thinking in the individual, promoting the good of society as a whole. Censorship prohibits artistic expressions, questioning art, however, freedom of artistic expression and communication is provided for in the 1988 Federal Constitution.
