Abstract
The contradiction between the results of official evaluations and the opinion expressed by teachers, parents and students about Brazilian education is a topic of great relevance and complexity. National assessments, such as ENEM and IDEB, often present numbers that suggest improvements in the quality of education in the country. However, when we listen to teachers, parents and students, the reality seems to be very different.
