Abstract
Currently, companies in different sectors are looking for computerized solutions to
improve the efficient management of your resources. Companies from different sectors implement
computerized systems, whether through internal development or hiring
outsourced. These systems have the ability to improve business organization,
providing more visual and efficient management of resources. Among the organizations that
are adopting this strategy, body shops have been investing significantly in
computerization of its processes. According to Souza (2024), the adoption of technologies,
such as inventory management systems, have optimized processes and increased efficiency
operational in automotive body shops in Brazil. This reflects the need
increasing automation in processes that, until recently, were mostly manual.
According to a survey carried out by IBM, 78% of Brazilian business leaders are
investing in technologies such as automation and artificial intelligence, aiming to optimize its
operations in the coming years (IBM, 2023).
Therefore, the project aims to develop a system via
console for a body shop. This system will be developed in Python, integrated
with SQL database. The aim is to optimize internal management, offering a solution
effective through data integration. As a complement, a
dashboard in Power BI, which will allow you to view information more clearly and
objective, helping to make strategic decisions.The project aims to modernize and computerize the chosen company, which still depends on
manual processes. The creation of a personalized system will directly contribute to the
general improvement of processes, providing greater efficiency and agility at the
operational, with a positive impact on profits. This is corroborated by Folha's research
Vitória, who points out that 78% of Brazilian companies already use automation, with 52%
of them have practical experience with these tools. This movement is directly
related to the search for operational efficiency, cost reduction and increased productivity
(Folha Vitória, 2024).
In addition to the technical aspects worked on in the project, the proposed PI seeks to develop
two essential soft skills for the job market: teamwork and organization.
These elements will be fundamental throughout the development of the system, which will need
be divided into several parts so that the schedule is fulfilled as planned,
also requiring rigorous organization to avoid project failures or delays.

Therefore, this work is structured as follows: first, an
company description. Next, the correlation between teaching units will be presented
and its application in the project. Subsequently, the development of the project will be described
in detail, including theoretical and practical integration, culminating in a conclusion that
highlights lessons learned and results achieved.
