Abstract

It is very common to see education professionals unprepared to deal with the emotional baggage of their students, as is the stance taken by Cátia's teacher. When the teacher is unable to have this vision, he is not only failing to look at his student with empathy but also failing to see the impact that this can have on their attitudinal skills, such as knowledge, criticality, cultural repertoire, communication, life project, argumentation, self-knowledge, empathy, responsibility and citizenship. It is worth highlighting that to achieve good learning it is important to know the processes of human development, such as biological, cognitive and socio-emotional. Learning is a process of changing behavior obtained through experiences constructed by neurological, emotional, relational and environmental factors. It all starts with good planning, developing projects, awareness lectures, fairs and other types of cultural events, so that not only the student is educated, but the school has this positioning, as education is everywhere, we are changed all the time, learning something new every second. It is in the union of democratic management that quality education is achieved.
