Abstract

This study aims to understand the systems of direct and reverse logistics, from the perspective of a company that operates in the industrial sector of beverages. The literature shows that forward logistics refers to the flow of materials from the point of acquisition to the point of consumption, while reverse logistics denotes the flow of materials from the point of consumption to the point of origin. As a result, it was observed that the company has direct and reverse logistics processes in a formalized and consolidated way, and its efficiency is proven, through the various limiting factors of this activity.
