Abstract
In short, the approach focused on accurate diagnosis, targeted pedagogical planning and consideration of students' prior knowledge emerges as a necessity in the current educational context. Only through this holistic and inclusive approach is it possible to promote true equity in the teaching-learning process, avoiding exclusion and discouragement of children.
