Abstract

In the present work, the target of the consulting project was the Fundação de Teaching Octávio Bastos, located in the municipality of São João da Boa Vista, with great visibility in the academic field in your region. The main points that will be addressed by the study units will be gradually implemented in the project, as the main financial variables, accounting, economic and administrative aspects of this foundation, in order to prepare the statements and company balance sheets, analyze the economic scenario and its organizational structure. In addition, Porter's theories on relationships between companies were studied, competing companies and consumers (clients) and applied in the company in question, being thus to demonstrate ways to achieve greater profit returns according to your audience target. In addition to these conditions, the macroeconomic conditions of the company were evaluated, inserted within the national economy, subject to suggestions for possible decision-making in the future by the administrative board of the institution. In this way, the extension project aims at the exchange of knowledge among students, data made available by the foundation and has the assistance of teachers and coordinators, benefiting from knowledge acquired during classes, putting them into practice, demonstrating ways to improve or adjust some points demonstrated in the exercise result.
