dc.description.abstractWe bring to this study the theme of deafness from the perspective of the right to difference in equal rights in a classroom context. Therefore, this text is concerned with looking at deaf students who use – or are in the process of acquiring – sign language. This issue generates anguish in the educator, because in most cases, there is no training for the professional to learn to deal with the issue of linguistic difference – because sign language is indeed a language.pt_BR
dc.description.resumoTrazemos para este estudo a temática da surdez na perspectiva do direito à diferença na igualdade de direitos num contexto de sala de aula. Portanto este texto ocupa-se com o olhar para alunos surdos usuários – ou em processo de aquisição – da língua de sinais. Essa questão gera angústia no educador, pois na maioria dos casos, não há formação para o profissional aprender a lidar com a questão da diferença linguística – pois a língua de sinas é sim uma língua.pt_BR
