Abstract
The project develops an Environmental Impact Monitoring Platform for
Ferrari Agroindústria, aiming to assist the company and its partner agricultural communities in
adoption of more sustainable agricultural practices. This application will be implemented via console
and will integrate concepts of Business Intelligence, Object Oriented Programming, Logic
Programming and Data Modeling to efficiently monitor and manage data
natural resources used in agriculture, such as soil and water. The system will use data
related to soil conditions, such as moisture, pH and nutrient levels, and information
climate conditions, such as precipitation and temperature, in addition to considering agricultural practices
adopted, such as crop rotation and irrigation, and the use of natural resources such as water and
energy. This data can be entered manually by users or collected in a
simulated by environmental sensors, and will be processed to generate reports and analyzes in
real time.The platform will allow Ferrari Agroindústria to continuously monitor
environmental conditions on their properties, which will enable more efficient and
informed of resources. Based on the data collected, the tool will generate recommendations
for the adoption of more sustainable practices, such as rational irrigation, optimization of the use of
fertilizers and pesticides, and crop planning. This will help reduce the impact
environment and improving agricultural productivity. Additionally, the system will produce reports
on the environmental impact of the practices adopted, with indicators such as water consumption and
carbon emissions, which will allow the company to communicate its carbon emissions efforts
sustainability to investors, regulatory bodies and other interested parties.
By promoting the optimization of resource use, such as reducing water consumption and
fertilizers, and by generating personalized recommendations, the platform will help Ferrari
Agroindustry to increase the efficiency of its agricultural operations. Furthermore, the initiative
will reinforce the company's commitment to sustainability, while at the same time
will contribute to the training of its employees and partner farmers,
raising awareness about the importance of adopting conscious agricultural practices and
environmentally responsible
