Abstract

Unifeob will have the opportunity to acquire a sensor that can predict losses of electronic devices through the work of students in group 9 of class A of the internet of things module, the group is promoting the extensive project entitled “Low cost and functional IoT prototype”. The team will offer a means of solution to prevent technological devices from being damaged by humidity or high temperatures. This solution will be possible thanks to the use of sensors connected to arduinos strategically located on the ceiling of each room. This device works in a simple way, yet efficient, constantly monitoring temperature and humidity in real time and, in case of drastic alteration will immediately alert the person in charge. In this way, with the help of this project, the college can then avoid losses significant damage to electronics due to environmental conditions, thus helping to decrease maintenance costs. This project also aims to create something new, which was worked with creativity, reinforcing that although it is a technology, it was made and planned by people, As writer Elbert Hubbard said, “A machine can do the work of 50 men. ordinary men, but no machine can do the work of an extraordinary man.”
