Abstract

Brazilian education goes through contradictory moments when we make a relationship between the indices achieved in external evaluations and the opinion of agents involved in the school community. The search for quality education is far from being achieved in Brazil because it is common to blame school failure exclusively on the school and teaching staff, who are called unprepared and obsolete by society.
