| dc.description.abstract | It all started with the arrival of the Industrial Revolution in which women assumed their role in the job market, working in areas that were previously dominated exclusively by men. Even with these achievements, prejudice continues to exist. The statistics point that women are the majority in higher education, to obtain greater recognition in the labor market. With the emergence of contraceptive methods, it made it easier for some women have the opportunity to decide about their maternal life, as motherhood can be a obstacle in a woman's professional career. The work environment is not always a safe place for them, with risks of sexual and moral harassment. Although there is a growing conquest of women in the labor market there is still gender discrimination. | pt_BR |
| dc.description.resumo | Tudo iniciou com chegada da Revolução Industrial em que as mulheres assumiram seu papel no mercado de trabalho, atuando em áreas que antes eram dominadas exclusivamente por homens. Mesmo com estas conquistas o preconceito continua a existir. As estatísticas apontam que as mulheres são a maioria nos ensinos superiores, para obter maior reconhecimento no mercado de trabalho. Com o surgimento de métodos contraceptivos facilitou para que algumas mulheres tenha a oportunidade de decidir sobre a vida materna, pois a maternidade pode ser um obstáculo na carreira profissional de uma mulher. O ambiente de trabalho nem sempre é um local seguro para elas, tendo riscos de assédio sexual e moral. Embora haja a crescente conquista da mulher no mercado de trabalho ainda existe discriminação de gênero. | pt_BR |
