Abstract
Sage (Salvia Officinalis L.) originates in southern Europe and
Mediterranean, belongs to the Lamiaceae family and is widely used in
medicine, cooking and cosmetics production. A survey by the WHO
reported that 80% of the population of underdeveloped countries use plants
medicinal products as a primary health treatment, using its extracts and
