Obesity is excess body weight, defined as a mass index (BMI), it is a chronic non-communicable disease, being a factor in risk for worsening COVID-19 disease, in addition to other possible complications such as cardiovascular disease (especially in people with abdominal fat excessive), diabetes mellitus, certain types of cancer, cholelithiasis, fatty liver, cirrhosis, osteoarthritis, reproductive disorders in men and women, psychological disorders
