Abstract

In recent decades, there have been significant changes in organizations, the which seek to adapt to a new market environment in which competitiveness, associated with new information and communication technologies, requires skills differentiated from their collaborators. In this way, the people management sector needed to professionalize and find ways to demonstrate that their performance could also add value to organizations (CAPAVERDE, 2018). Effective and quality people management in a company needs to be elaborated with well-defined strategies and a good structure, as well as aligning all collaborators so that they can put the theoretical plan into practice in a efficient. For this, it is essential to capture good employees, selected and hired carefully for the positions and functions and they destined, so that they can evolve professional career and become a differential of the company in front of the market. Two excellent instruments that help the organization to adapt and compete in this reconfigured market, when it comes to hiring and professional career, are make a job and salary plan, as well as guided recruitment and selection, something essential for a business to have efficient management, in addition to bringing benefits for both the employer and the employee.
