Supply chain are the processes that involve suppliers and customers and link companies from the initial source of raw materials to the point of consumption of the finished product. Nike designs, distributes and sells athletic apparel and shoes worldwide. However, Nike does not have its own factory, it outsources its production to primary suppliers (called tier 1) located in several countries.
