dc.description.abstractThis work presents the analysis of a reference company in mining. Vale has become the largest diversified mining company in the Americas. Larger exporter of iron ore and pellets in the world, and one of the largest producers world manganese and ferroalloys. Vale is also one of the largest freight companies in Brazil, operating several railways and ports. The Vale Group has diversified, participating in copper and energy projects, this should open up new avenues of growth.
