Abstract

The contradiction between the results of official assessments and the opinion expressed by teachers, parents and students about Brazilian education is due to the fact that official assessments only evaluate the final result, not evaluating the student as a whole, their socio-emotional skills. Official assessments are part of the reality of Brazilian schools, as a means of evaluating learning results.
