Atualização de Valores pelo IGP-M: GS Inima Brasil

Abstract

The updating of values by the General Market Price Index (IGP-M) is an indicator that measures the variation of prices in the Brazilian economy. It serves to track currency value changes and price changes from clothing and transportation to real estate and industry. In general, the IGP-M serves to indicate how inflation is going in the economy, thus analyzing consumer and wholesale prices and also construction costs. We used the data related to the company GS inima do Brasil, with the objective of analyzing the financial calculation statements based on the Balance Sheet and the Income Statement for the period from 2019 to 2021. Having as main purpose net income and equity , which highlight the rises and falls of company values. (MARCIANO, 2020).
