Uso de anticorpo IGY especifico da gema de ovo no tratamento da parvovirose canina: revisão de literatura

Abstract

Parvovirus is a viral disease of great relevance in dogs, causing high mortality in this species. To treat this condition, new alternatives have been used, including immunoglobulins. When chickens are exposed to parvovirus, they produce immunoglobulin Y (IgY), which accumulates in the yolks of their eggs. Studies show that IgY improves the intestinal health of dogs, causing milder symptoms and also increasing the survival rate of these animals.
