dc.description.abstractThe objective of this work was to investigate the fauna present on the Campus of the Centro Universitário Octávio Bastos, located in São João da Boa Vista, where the Cerrado and Atlantic Forest biomes intersect. From the observed species, we developed the course of an ecological trail, with the aim of enabling greater contact between man and nature, transmitting geographic, historical, cultural and ecological knowledge, sensitizing the participants to the contact with the natural reality, reiterating it them the importance of environmental preservation, and the dynamic balance of relationships between living beings and the benefits of preserving them (TABANEZ et al, 1997).pt_BR
dc.description.resumoO objetivo deste trabalho foi averiguar a fauna presente no Campus do Centro Universitário Octávio Bastos, localizada em São João da Boa Vista, em que se intersectam os biomas do Cerrado e Mata Atlântica. A partir das espécies observadas, desenvolvemos o percurso de uma trilha ecológica, com o intuito de possibilitar maior contato do homem junto à natureza, transmitindo conhecimentos geográficos, históricos, culturais e ecológicos, sensibilizando os participantes para o contato com a realidade natural, reiterando-lhes a importância da preservação ambiental, e o equilíbrio dinâmico das relações entre os seres vivos e os benefícios de preservá-los (TABANEZ et al, 1997).pt_BR
