Abstract
Elbow dysplasia is among the various causes of lameness resulting from osteoarticular diseases in young dogs. It includes situations such as fragmentation of the coronoid process, non-union of the anechoic process and osteochondrosis of the humeral medial condyle. The diagnosis is suggestive by cynical examination and confirmed by radiographic examination of the elbow. However, some conditions can be diagnosed only based on secondary degenerative joint changes. Surgical intervention is discussed after advanced progression of degenerative joint disease.
