Abstract

This Integrated Project (IP) will address the Environmental Management Systems and their Social Impacts. The company chosen to analyze its environmental and socioeconomic policies was Vale S.A, a mining company that uses natural resources to obtain a source of profit in the business environment, having the requirement of an environmental management system for being responsible for mitigating the negative impacts that cause not only to nature, but also to society.
