Abstract
This work aims to show the various tools available
that can facilitate the work of public administration, showing that all this
tooling forms a set of people, processes and products that can be translated
in an efficient IT management, IT resources in public management caused profound
sector changes. The global economy has changed, also changing the vision and way of
work in the public sector, forcing organizations to look for new models of
efficiency to provide quality services and maintain the transparency of decisions and
public acts. The legislations made the services and operations subordinated to the new
technologies, combining the service with a technological environment based on the use of
networks, systems, equipment and high technology that led public management to use
these resources to provide services with better levels of quality. It is
quality expected by the taxpayer only becomes possible when there is
investments in technology, innovation and intelligence embedded in the value of services
offered.
