Projeto de Extensão: Administração de Produção Sabor de Família Congelados

Abstract

In 1924, American inventor Clarence Birdseye created the first fast freezing after having noticed in Canada that when the fish came in contact with the cold air it froze due to temperature differences, being able to keep conserved for a long period and consumed after thawing as if it were fresh. He then created a frozen food company and dedicated himself to its commercialization (SITE: originofthings.com [21--?]). In the 1940s, Birdseye's company was already freezing all kinds of food and thanks to acquired experience began to innovate, launching on the market the first foods pre-cooked frozen foods, which made their consumption much faster and practical, being especially appreciated by the housewives that at the time of the 2nd World War World worked outside the home (SITE: originofthings.com [21--?]).
