This disease has several factors involved, such as sex, race, genetics, age, management, nutrition, obesity or in some cases the animal will present with muscle atrophy. However, the primary factor evaluated in every animal that presents this pathology is the laxity of the ligament, which consequently generates disharmony or instability of this joint.
