Abstract

The Hip Dysplasia (DCF) is a pathology with the highest number of incidences in the routine of the veterinary clinic of small animals, mainly affecting dogs of larger breeds. and medium sizes. One of the main clinical signs presented by the animal is lameness, which manifests itself due to the degree of the disease in the animal. (BARROS et al., 2008). This disease has several factors involved, such as sex, race, genetics, age, management, nutrition, obesity or in some cases the animal will present with muscle atrophy. However, the primary factor evaluated in every animal that presents this pathology is the laxity of the ligament, which consequently generates disharmony or instability of this joint.
