PROJETO PAINEL DE INDICADORES ECONÔMICOS

Abstract

In this project on Economic Indicators, the importance of indicators and how they can facilitate decision-making in the economic world. First, what are economic indicators? According to experts, they are statistics and graphs on economic operations that aim to show the performance and predictions generated by data collection. An example of an economic indicator that everyone has already heard about is the GDP (Gross Domestic Product) which aims to show all the elements economic data collected in a given period, for an understanding of the state of the region desired. Quoting Maia (2021) “The main secondary economic data sites in the Brazil are the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), Central Bank of Brazil (BCB) and the Brazilian Institute of Economics of the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV IBER)”. We will use the city of Mogi Guaçu - SP as a base for development and demonstrative, a city containing 150,000 inhabitants that was founded in 1877, has already been known for its Ceramics that was disappearing and today is a reference for its great multinationals, in addition Mogi Guaçu - SP borders with two other cities, Mogi Mirim - SP and Estiva Gerbi - SP also having a Martinho Prado - SP district.
