Abstract
The environmental issue has a prominent place in national and international debates. This occurs because, according to Gobbi (2005), environmental problems are considered essential concerns in the management process, leading companies to seek new ways to better relate to them. The implementation of the SGA - Environmental Management System allows the organization to reach the level of environmental performance determined by it and promote its continuous improvement over time.
