dc.description.abstractThe Covid-19 Pandemic changed the way leaders and managers conducted themselves and its collaborators. The sudden change of reality forced them to adapt and the main thing allied to ensure the mental and physical health of its teams was emotional intelligence. Through research in books and digital media, enriched with the knowledge of experts on the subject, the study proposed to examine what is needed to obtain emotional intelligence, what is its importance and how to use it in the scenario left by the pandemic. He found that this skill requires, in addition to self-knowledge, knowledge of the other - empathy and social skill. He concluded that developing the quality of emotional intelligence is critical for a successful leader, as his success is measured by the performance of his team.pt_BR
dc.description.resumoA Pandemia de Covid-19 mudou a forma como líderes e gestores conduziam a si mesmos e seus colaboradores. A mudança repentina de realidade os obrigou a se adaptarem e o principal aliado para garantir a saúde mental e física das suas equipes foi a inteligência emocional. Através de pesquisas em livros e meios digitais, enriquecido com o conhecimento de especialistas no assunto, o estudo propôs examinar o que é necessário para obter inteligência emocional, qual a sua importância e como utilizá-la no cenário deixado pela pandemia. Constatou que essa habilidade requer, além do autoconhecimento, o conhecimento do outro - empatia e habilidade social. Concluiu que desenvolver a qualidade de inteligência emocional é fundamental para um líder de sucesso, já que seu sucesso é medida pelo desempenho da sua equipe.pt_BR
