Abstract

Avon Products Ind. It was created in 1886, in the United States by David McConnell after he realized that he did not have the gift of selling books but of making perfume fragrances, thus emerging the first perfume company with "door to door" sales and for 123 years it has been promoting the empowerment and empowerment of women in more than 100 countries. It is the largest direct sales company in the world and has a sales force of 5.8 million autonomous resellers. In 2008, Avon registered global growth, reaching the record mark of US$ 10.7 billion in sales. In Brazil, Avon has been operating for 123 years and has more than 1.1 million resellers.
