Abstract

The teacher's attitude towards the situation reveals a lack of sensitivity in dealing with emotional issues and values in the school environment. The role of the teacher goes beyond the transmission of academic content, including the ethical and citizenship training of students. Student negligence and teacher negligence in addressing situations contribute to the perpetuation of a negative school environment. To promote democratic management and expand training for citizenship, the team of teachers and the school community can act organically. An effective action would be the implementation of socio-emotional education programs, addressing topics such as respect, empathy and problem solving. , the creation of spaces for dialogue between teachers, students and parents can facilitate open discussions about coexistence and values, promoting a culture of respect and inclusion. These collaborative practices contribute to the construction of a healthier school environment, where the student's integral education is produced.
