    In this work we will present our evolution during this quarter with in relation to Supply Chain and Cost Classification matters. We chose Ambev because it is one of the fastest growing companies in Brazil, holding a variety of activities and technologies and it is notorious to know take advantage of them in order to generate market advantages in relation to the competition, each increasingly fierce. The chosen company until it is new (only 23 years of age) and must show us within the context of PI how it manages to be the top in its segment. We will approach the management of the value chain that, in the business, provides great advantages sustainable competitive strategies in the market as a whole and aims to maximize the results of company sectors.

    Gerdau is the largest Brazilian steel producer and one of the main suppliers of long steel in the Americas and of special steels in the world. In Brazil, it also produces flat steel, in addition to iron ore for own consumption. The company is present in 10 countries and has more than 30 thousand direct and indirect employees in all its operations. Larger recycler in Latin America, Gerdau uses scrap as an important raw material: 73% of the steel it produces is made from this material. Every year there are 11 million tons of scrap that are transformed into various steel. Gerdau shares are listed on the São Paulo stock exchanges (B3), New York (NYSE) and Madrid (Latibex).

Looking at the current scenario, it is essential to raise the issue on which discussed here, because given the circumstances of social and technological evolution, the human beings tend to be more evolutionary in their perspectives in relation to their choices, so it is increasingly common to search for better product quality at a lower cost, attitudes which are correct by consumers, but which make companies develop to meet these needs, we can say so.
