Agribusiness in Brazil contributes almost 25% of GDP, only grains produced here, feed about 1.2 billion people worldwide, according to the Embrapa. The sector still performs 40% of national exports. In summary, it is easy to say that a quarter of all the wealth produced in the country and almost half of Brazilian exports to the world are leaving the hands of Brazilian rural producers.
