Brazil is the largest consumer of pesticides in the world. Several studies prove the harm to human and environmental health from exposure to pesticides. Analysis of scientific articles, books and online sites were carried out in the search for more information about pesticides and their morphofunctional interference in human health. It is essential to carry out studies on the effects of chronic and simultaneous exposure to various pesticides, in addition to studies on the nexus of structural determination of the use of poisons and their consequences. We were able to conclude from this that there are several interferences caused by the use of pesticides both in the population that consumes such foods as in rural producers, who, in turn, do not use safety equipment capable of reducing contact with these chemical components.

Pesticides were developed in World War I and widely used in World War II as a chemical weapon. With the end of the war, the product was used and known as pesticide or phytosanitary products. Once used in agricultural systems, pesticides remain in food even after washing. Uncontrolled ingestion of these substances can lead to several diseases, including: Cancer; Paralysis; Neurological problems; Breathing difficulties; Skin irritations; Allergies; Miscarriage and malformation of the fetus, as well as causing numerous damage to the environment. It is for these ills and others still unknown that alternative methods of agricultural production without the use of pesticides are increasingly being sought and developed. Foods produced from this idea have several benefits such as: safer foods and free from chemical contamination that can cause health damage; more nutritious foods that preserve their properties that are not lost in the production process; and more sustainable production with no soil contamination, reduced use of non-renewable energy sources and reduced waste production.

    Benefícios dos defensores agrícolas
(Centro Universitário da Fundação de Ensino Octávio Bastos, 2019-06-30) BOAS, Carmélia Vilas; FIGUEIREDO, Débora de Oliveira; GIACCHETA, Giulia; GONÇALVES, Izabella de Souza; GUEDES, Jéssica Aparecida; CAETANO, Maria da Graça Rezende; SANTOS, Amilton César; ROSSI, Cintia Lima; SANTOS, Odair José dos
Agricultural pesticides aim to protect crops from pests and insects, which may end up compromising crop production and food quality. But their use can end up generating a discussion, such as their benefit to the environment. Over the years, efforts have been made to improve its use, resulting in plant extracts and microbial agents, such as nematodes, which are used in pesticides to combat pathogens. This would improve our health, and would have a much lesser impact on the environment, as it is easy to use in the soil and does not leave residues. The use of pesticides can be seen as a "medicine" for plants, but if used in excess it is harmful, they are perceived as an enemy of the environment and also of health, but their use is important for mass production of food, so that the population does not lack, for example, the use of defensives help the food to have a slower decomposition, aiming at its quality for consumption. If used correctly, pesticides can be a great ally to meet all the population's demand and generate great savings for the country.

According to Law 7.802/89, agricultural pesticides are defined as products and agents whose function is to change the composition of flora or fauna, in order to preserve them from the harmful action of harmful living beings. Pesticides emerged with the need to meet the increased demand for consumption and food input for the entire population. In the present work, a bibliographical review was carried out regarding the benefits that the use of pesticides brought and continues to bring to the environment and the crop.

(Centro Universitário da Fundação de Ensino Octávio Bastos, 2019-06-30) SANTOS, Maria Elisa Freire dos; GIMENES, Maria Eduarda Gorini; CARNEIRO, Maria Eugênia de Oliveira; FERREIRA, Stefanie Franco; SANTOS, Amilton Cesar; ROSSI, Cintia Lima; SANTOS, Odair José dos
The objective of the present work is to show us that the use of pesticides is the most used by producers for the extinction of pests, thereby increasing their productivity. The first issue was to show us that at the end of July 2019 51 new pesticide molecules were released, the vast majority are products that have been in the market for a long time, but only now has the record of some companies to sell them, is the In the case of Glyphosate and Mancozebe based products that are old and used in time but not all companies had their record, the others are more selective products in the field that have higher technology and use less quantities but kill fewer natural enemies. In the case of pests, however, they are safer products to use because for the release of use the analyzes are more stringent as to health. The release of the new molecules was approved by the current government, where it generated a great repercussion, where many did not understand the need for this release, but Brazil is one of the largest countries with land and higher production and to maintain quality and quality. large amount with standards it is indispensable to use pesticides in the field

Congenital cardiac malformation are problems or abnormalities in the functions or structures of the heart, they appear in the period of 3 weeks of gestation when the formation of the heart begins. When the examination is carried out in the initial phase of the newborn's life, the chances of discovering a cardiac malformation are high, but when special attention is not given, the discovery only becomes possible in the adult phase, when it is often already too late. Such malformations can evolve from just one complication, which can be treated throughout life to a high mortality rate.

Among the Brazilian population, the major part of cardiovascular diseases (CVD) stands out the acute myocardial infarction (AMI), according to the information department of the National Health System (DATASUS) in 2013 the main cause of death in Brazil refers to AMI. The purpose of this study was to elaborate a case study on the reasons for AMI in a patient and the difference of morphological alterations comparing a healthy organ and an affected organ, also using histological slides of normal myocardial and myocardial tissues with infarction, (Figure 2), necrotic myocardial fibers are observed, which is characterized by the loss of the myocardiocytic nucleus. This study made it possible to determine the presence of cardiac tissue , through the literature review of cardiology, the possible causes of an acute myocardial infarction, the physiology of a healthy heart, the comparison of the injured tissues and regions of the heart with an unchanged one, as well as the methods and materials used for such comparison.

The consumption of fast food has been gradually increasing in a contemporary society, where speed has been dominating, and the habit of eating processed foods is increasingly common. Due to globalization and its technologies, most people have been adopting a very caloric eating habit, rich in fats, carbohydrates and salt and without any nutritional value, due to the extremely modern way of life and without long intervals of time. As a result, countries like Japan, the United States of America, Australia, Brazil, among others, have a high rate of cardiovascular diseases, caused by obesity, diabetes, hypertension (due to excessive consumption of salts), and especially bad cholesterol (LDL) in the blood. Modernity, without a doubt, has created several factors, from the lack of time, as well as the ease that makes up our need to ingest food for the maintenance of our body. However, this need must be met with foods that will benefit every anatomical part of our body.

    Alterações Congênitas X Histórico Familiar
(Centro Universitário da Fundação de Ensino Octávio Bastos, 2019-06-30) VALDAMBRINI, Ana Luiza Inácio; GIÃO, Estela Carolina Bargas; MONTOURO, Fernanda Braganhole; CUNHA, Gabriela Nogueira; SANTOS, Heloísa dos; FRANCISCO, Valdenise S.; SANTOS, Amilton Cesar dos; ROSSI, Cintia Lima; SOUZA, Carlos Alberto Colozzo de; SANTOS, Odair José dos
The objective of this study is to describe the congenital changes in family history with several causes, teratogenic factors that cause malformations, which can be classified into three categories: chemical agents (licit and illicit drugs, drugs and chemical substances), agents (infections) and physical agents (ionizing radiation and temperature). In cases of malformed newborns, more than half could be avoided by applying primary prevention measures. For this, it would be necessary to know the frequency of each specific defect to evaluate the impact of a prevention measure and to know the possible causes involved in the specific congenital defects. In several countries around the world, including Brazil, public health programs related to the preventive actions of congenital malformations are related to the fortification of grains and farinaceous with folic acid to reduce the primary occurrence. Such changes in Brazil were recommendations suggested by the World Health Organization and the Pan American Health Organization, in order to reduce the risk of pathologies that compromise the central nervous system (CNS). The objective of this article was to investigate the existence of a relationship between the type of congenital malformation and the neonatal variables (birth weight, gender and gestational age) and maternal variables (gestational drug use, number of prenatal visits, age, income family, education level and number of children).
