Item Caracterização das glândulas salivares maiores do gambá(Centro Universitário da Fundação de Ensino Octávio Bastos, 2004-09-30) MARTUCCI, Mariane; MALEK, Carolina; AMBRÓSIO, Carlos Eduardo; CARVALHO, Ana Flávia de; MIGLINO, Maria Angélica6 animals from natural death were collected and collected in different situations such as being run over, attacks by other animals on neighboring farms, etc. Which were donated to the Anatomy Laboratory of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Fundação de Ensino Octávio Bastos; São João da Boa Vista, SP. The anatomical techniques used were injection of 10% aqueous solution of formaldehyde and dissection of the glands. The parotid gland was found between the mandibular gland and the ear, the mandibular gland and the sublingual gland. No findings similar to the dog's palatine and zygomatic gland were observed.Item Caracterização e fórmula dentária de Kerodon rupestris(Centro Universitário da Fundação de Ensino Octávio Bastos, 2004-09-30) THOMAZ, Juliana Mantovani; CARVALHO, Ana Flávia de; MIGLINO, Maria Angélica; AMBRÓSIO, Carlos Eduardo; MANÇANARES, Celina de Almeida FurlanettoThe dentition of mammals varies according to species, although it is formed by the same structural components. Keredon rupestris presents the dental formula 1 1/1, C 0/0, P 1/1, M 3/3, its teeth being hypsodonts, whose layers, from the external to the internal region are: cementum, enamel, dentin and pulp. In his oral cavity, the presence of a region known as diastema was noticed, which is responsible for the displacement of the cutter apparatus away from the face.Item Análise macro e microscópica do pâncreas e fígado de gambá(Centro Universitário da Fundação de Ensino Octávio Bastos, 2004-09-30) CASALS, Juliana; BELLATINE, Tatiana; AMBRÓSIO, Carlos Eduardo; CARVALHO, Ana Flávia de; MARTINS, João Flávio Panattoni; ROQUETO, Marco Antônio; MANÇANARES, Celina de Almeida Furlanetto; MIGLINO, Maria Angélica; HOFFMAN, Roberto16 animals from natural death were used in different situations. The techniques used, often traumatic, were injection of 10% formaldehyde followed by injection of latex (blue for the veins and red for the arteries) in the jugular vein and abdominal aorta. The results showed that the liver was dome-shaped in the cranial abdominal region, being macroscopically composed of 5 lobes and histologically similar to other domestic animals. The pancreas is dispersed and has an irregular surface. Its vascularization consisted of pancreatic duodenal, cranial and caudal arteries. Histologically, it presented characteristics similar to the pancreas of domestic species.Item Vascularização da cabeça de gambás(Centro Universitário da Fundação de Ensino Octávio Bastos, 2004-09-30) FRANCIOLI, André Luis Rezende; SIKINGER, Carlos Eduardo; AMBRÓSIO, Carlos Eduardo; CARVALHO, Ana Flávia de; MANÇANARES, Celina de Almeida Furlanetto; MIGLINO, Maria Angélica; ROSA, Ricardo Alexandre; HOFMANN, Roberto16 opossums from natural death or being run over were used. The techniques used were injection of 10% formaldehyde followed by injection of latex (blue for the veins and red for the arteries) in the jugular vein and thoracic aorta, in the cranial direction, respectively, and dissection of the vessels. Vascularization occurs through the common carotid arteries, which branch into internal and external carotid arteries. The jugular vein branches into internal and external. The internal carotid artery goes through divergent caudal and rostral branches to the brain, called the occipital artery. The external carotid artery goes cranially over the pharynx, branching into the facial, lingual and maxillary arteries.Item Alterações no perfil esparmático e constituição histológica dos testículos de coelhos sob a influência do aumento transitório da temperatura testicular(Centro Universitário da Fundação de Ensino Octávio Bastos, 2004-09-30) MARTINS, João Flávio Panattoni; BARROS, Michele Andrade de; IVO, Marcos Alexandre; OLIVEIRA, Priscila Carvalho de; BALIEIRO, Cristiano de Carvalho; AMBRÓSIO, Carlos Eduardo; MIGLINO, Maria Angélica; CARVALHO, Ana Flávia deThis study was conducted to investigate the sperm profile of rabbits, evaluating concentration, motility vigor and incidence of sperm with changes in the compaction of genetic material (pathologies of the DNA protein complex), under normal conditions and under the influence of the transient increase in temperature testicular. Eight fertile rabbits were used evaluating the parameters of 3 ejaculates on alternate days and then the animals were subjected to an increase in testicular temperature for 3 days, collecting semen samples on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for 38 days for analysis. . Every 5 days a rabbit underwent orchiectomy for histological evaluation of testicles and epididymis.Item Desenvolvimento das membranas fetais em carnívoros (Canis familiaris, Linnaeus, 1758)(Fundação de Ensino Octávio Bastos, 2004-09-30) WENCESLAU, Cristiane V.; MIGLINO, Maria Angélica; AMBRÓSIO, Carlos Eduardo; CARVALHO, Ana Flávia de; OLIVEIRA, Priscila C. de; FIORAVANTE FILHO, Nivaldo; ROSA, Ricardo Alexandre; MANÇANARES, Celina Almeida FurlanetoThe present study aims to provide morphological subsidies that can contribute to research in the processes of biotechnology of reproduction, as well as in vitro fertilization, cloning and obtaining stem cells, since this process in carnivores is complex and complicated. Therefore, our proposal aims at describing the structures and evolution of fetal membranes in dogs, including the process of involution of the yolk sac.Item Relato de caso de teratologia em avestruz(Fundação de Ensino Octávio Bastos, 2001-11-30) OLIVIERI, Daniela Liliane; MELLO, Eduardo Castanheira de; FERREIRA, Guilherme J. B.C.; CARVALHO, Ana Flávia de; ALVES, Jefferson Douglas SoaresTeratology is the study of the causes, mechanisms and manifestations of deviations in both structural and functional development, embryos that were useful in the studies of a series of these anomalies and this work seeks to contribute in some way, reporting a rare case that in Brazil has not yet been described. For this case report, an animal (bird Struthio camelus) was used that had an embryonic malformation and presented with two columns, a trachea, an esophagus and the joined body, but with duplication of the limbs including the wing.Item Apoptose na placenta do búfalo(Fundação de Ensino Octávio Bastos, 2001-11-30) PEREIRA, Flávia Thomaz Verechia; MIGLINO, Maria Angélica; PETRONI, Natália Luiza; CARVALHO, Ana Flávia de; DAGLI, Maria Lúcia ZaidanThe ruminant placenta has a very uniform macroscopic structure, based on specialized areas of apposition and proliferation of maternal fetal membranes: the placentones (LEISER et al, 1994; LEISER et al, 1997a; LEISER et al, 1997b). Showing a fundamental role for the success of pregnancy, these structures have been extensively studied in several species of domestic animals of commercial interest. In these areas of contact between mother and fetus, apoptosis (programmed cell death) occurs, appearing with 7-10 months of pregnancy, however the pregnancy of the buffalo is 10 months and apoptosis is visualized in these late stages of pregnancy.Item Morfologia da placenta canina(Fundação de Ensino Octávio Bastos, 2001-11-30) AMBRÓSIO, Carlos Eduardo; MIGLINO, Maria Angélica; FERREIRA, Guilherme J. B.C.; CARVALHO, Ana Flávia de; ROSA, Ricardo AlexandreThe placenta of SRD dogs was studied through macro, microscopic anatomy and scanning electron microscopy, analyzing the maternal and fetal vascular systems. It was classified as complete annular zonary, endothelial and lamellar with marginal hematomas in the extension of the margins of the placental brace. The vascularization of the organ is carried out by funicular vessels, branches, central placental and other, chorionic placental. Ventrally to the fetus, the remnant of the highly vascularized yolk sac is evident, characterizing the ventral choriovitheline placenta. Marginal hematomas were considered blood lakes arranged in contact with the trophoblast giving blood leakage originating from the maternal vessels, determining erythrophagositis and iron endocytosis. Placental microvascularization determines the lamellar classification of the canine placenta. At the fetal maternal interface, there are fetal capillaries arranged in a basket shape and maternal capillaries in the form of '' tufts of hair '' interspersed with gapsItem Estudos macro e microscópicos da glândula pineal de Kerodon rupestris(Fundação de Ensino Octávio Bastos, 2001-11-30) THOMAZ, Juliana M.; CARVALHO, Ana Flávia de; MIGLINO, Maria Angélica; ESTEVES, Alessandra; FERREIRA, Guilherme J. B.C.The pineal gland, in some mammals, is considered a complex instead of a single organ, being responsible for secreting melatonin, a hormone that triggers the puberty awakening and controls circadian cycles. Macroscopically, we obtained a pineal gland darker than the brain, in the form of a rod, extending from the habenular commissure to the dura mater and located between the rostral colicles, in the median portion of the brain. Histologically, it was similar to other rodents, with pinealocytes, secretory cells, glial support cells and limestone concretions.
