O Projeto Integrado é uma estratégia didática de ensino–aprendizagem cujo objetivo é materializar a interdisciplinaridade entre os saberes abordados durante o curso. Ou seja, o processo de realização do Projeto Integrado fornece subsídios para que o estudante desenvolva as competências relacionadas ao perfil profissional do curso, já que essas competências são exigidas nos diversos contextos do mundo acadêmico, prático e científico.

Estudo de caso: levantamento de patologias no conjunto habitacional “El Dourado”

The initial idea of the integrated project of the 7th module was for students to find a public or private work that needed to undergo a renovation/restoration and also that had a significant social impact. Thus, our group chose a housing project called El Dourado, located in São João da Boa Vista - SP. The building under study has several pathologies, including infiltration, cracks and even low quality materials in its composition. Thinking about dealing with all these problems and adapting the Pi proposal to our case study. We carried out technical visits to the site, research on the history of the work, photographic reports and what to deal with only those problems that occurred, but also on the benefits that this reform occurred for the population located there, since the work in question is inhabited by people in low economic and social condition, even more the use of the same illegality. The group made a detailed budget of the project, measuring costs such as labor and prices per unit of material, we followed a schedule in order to make this experience as close as possible to a real case.

The chosen residence located in the city of Aguaí - SP, where this work had several pathologies, namely: infiltrations, inappropriate disposal of materials, unfinished roof, doors rotted by humidity and the work itself was all stopped and abandoned for financial reasons. of the owners. Our study was based on solutions to correct and resume the continuation of the construction of the work, in order to avoid future problems according to the pathologies found.
Restauração da fachada do hotel São Paulo

For this semester's integrated project, it was proposed that we choose an inactive work due to some pathology and manage it, from choosing the materials to be used, and choosing professionals specialized in the subject, to the development of a construction mapping to observe particularly each pathology found in the work, thus obtaining a better result. The chosen work was the renovation and restoration of the facade of the Hotel São Paulo, located in the city of Águas da Prata-SP. The hotel was built around the year 1920, it served as the head quarters and was listed for such historical importance for the city. The hotel has been abandoned for over 20 years. In order to carry out this project, we contacted the owner of the place in question, we asked for his permission to take pictures of the place and thus work on top of what was found.

Floods and inundations represent one of the main natural phenomena that serve urban and even rural communities. This phenomenon is occasional by heavy and intense rains of long duration. This objective work is to analyze the topographical factors, as all the hydrological factors as the reasons of the hydrographic rains, analysis of the analysis of the hydrographic basin of the problem area through any geotechnical factor to verify the city. de São João da Boa Vista - SP, (-21.97978304213211, -46.78532852932856) suffers from frequent flooding. This is a study study, where data and site analysis were analyzed. Waterproofing is something that has been introduced since the dawn of humanity, and this act came from the need for human beings to find ways to combat and protect shelters from nature's events, such as storms, rains, winds, with the main objective of improving the resilience against them. It can be affirmed that the presence of water in the constructions is an abnormality, classifying a pathology, having negative actions in the buildings, thus bringing various types of complications. Waterproofing is the act of prevention against infiltration, being a technique of application of specific products to protect the areas of a building of events that can lead to the presence of pathology. When performing the case study and having direct contact with the owner of the work, with the visits was identified the pathology, which already mentioned, was the presence of moisture, causing the appearance of fungi and damage to the walls and slab of the property According to the problems, was developed a way to solve the complication, however, using unconventional materials, thinking ecologically and with the intention of being able to expand this medium so that society in general begins to make the use of this medium for future constructions. In Brazil, we are full of problems related to floods and inundations, referring to environmental causes or on the hands of human beings. However, the solutions to this problem require a preliminary study, revealing quick and low-budget solutions. Based on this, it was proposed to the students of the Civil Engineering course of the Soils and Topography module of the Centro Universitário da Fundação de Ensino Octávio Bastos to investigate a flood that occurs on Avenida Brasília, in the city of São João da Boa Vista, near the Big Bom supermarket. . In this situation, the students placed the knowledge acquired in the classroom in the suggested location and raised possible solutions to solve the problem. Through the presented problem, we understand that it would be necessary to carry out some research and experiments, from the extraction of soil samples to the buildings contained in the place. As a result, we achieved results that were fundamental for the development of our project. The main solution for the flooding was the Water Squares (Flooding Squares) which aims to design a place that acts as a water reservoir that will help the drainage during the rains and the rest of the time it works as squares for leisure for residents and tourists. The idea is to concentrate the water in the lower layers of the plaza and then drain it below the ground or direct it to a larger river.

Technological advances have the important function of alleviating various challenges that act in the elaboration of structural projects for civil construction, such as software for simulations and advanced calculations, laser levelers, concrete vibrators, modern equipment, which help prevent failures and errors, from the design of the project to the purchase and use of materials, enabling efficient development when it comes to small and large works. We will deal here about the interdiction of a bridge located on the street Dr. Afonso Dias de Araújo, in the center of the city of Bandeira do Sul, on which - although the city has access to such technologies mentioned above - suffered pathologies in its structure due to political greed when trying to finish the work in the short term to inaugurate it still in the current mandate, which hurt the quality of the final result. The BNDS itself (www.bndes.gov.br, 2015) understands that solving infrastructure problems becomes a necessary condition for improving the well-being of the urban population, allowing everyone to have access to basic services such as electricity, communications, urban transport and sanitation. Related to this, the expansion of infrastructure promotes the consolidation of regional integration, reduces costs and promotes the growth of productivity and quality of goods and services of the productive structure.

In the Integrated Project, research was requested on a work that, by itself, has been stopped for a long time with some pathology. Therefore, an investigation of the case and its possible problems and solutions was carried out. In order to solve the problem and get a suitable way out of the obstacle in question. The landfill was analyzed, and the landfill itself was not done properly, that is, without sufficient compaction and without downstream containment works to stabilize it. Therefore, it came to bring about a series of imprudence with the houses present there and paralyzing the entire work and emerging several pathologies in this case.

However, such feature also brings some limitations when compared to others of the same sector, due to the difficulty with partnerships and indications.
