An interview was carried out with rural producer Olivio Jacon and his son Guilherme. The property has 400 hectares, of which 380 hectares are used for plantation. The cultivation is mainly of grains. Soy has been gaining strength in the Agro sector and today it is the main source of income for many producers, in addition to its extreme importance in the export sector, as well as in the country's economy, which is why it was nicknamed Brazil's gold. Today it is produced in almost the entire Brazilian territory, occupying an area of around 36.8 million hectares, highlighting the state of Mato Grosso, today considered the main state in soybean production in the country, producing an average of 39,961.1 million tons, according to a survey carried out by CONAB (national supply company).
