Phenological stages: vegetative (V) and reproductive (R). Phase V is from Ve to Vn and phase R is from R1 to R6. It is a plant with an erect cespitose growth habit. It is recommended because of its ability to provide the herd with two essential items: energy and protein. Corn silage ends up being well accepted by animals due to its palatability. Furthermore, the plant is good for digestion and, as we mentioned, rich in energy, which contributes to better milk and meat production.
